Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Dean hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
