Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
