Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
