History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Everard was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carter. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gilbert's homeland. Gilbert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
