Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. The war was a terrible time for him, and Reynard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Jocelyn was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
