History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

He carries with him a set of falchions on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Robert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Nicholas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Herbalist and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
