History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the north. Ernest liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
