History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

After coming to the age of reason, Heward took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
