History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Rolf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rolf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Odo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.
