History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is cut short. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Shoemaker profession.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Justin was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a deep hatred of dire rats
