Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'7" and dresses in violet turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with yellow slacks. His white hair is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing yellow cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Lance abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
