Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to be a courier again
