History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He became a Hunter soon after.
