Personality: Balimaar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Balimaar was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Beggar. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Beggar.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Trym was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Trym's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Trym never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
