History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Ralf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Everard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but he was a colossal failure. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
