Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears white leather gloves, a white jacket, and tight pants. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'3" and wears bulky white painted plate armor. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hubert's homeland. Hubert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Body Guard born in the past three hundred years. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to open a new tavern
