Hubert Van Es, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his trident with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hubert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Hubert took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
Ideals: Gifted. Flaws: Disease, Antagonistic, Depressed. Bonds: Military. Occupation: Seamstress
Voice: Scratchy, weak

Diggory Shelly, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an entirely black suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A true patriot, Diggory would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

He prefers to carry a greataxe, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow and is in decent physical shape. He has wavy silver hair. His eyes are likewise brown.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman Milton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
