Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Frederick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and he perpetually has his shield ready. He wears his chestnut hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears bulky green painted plate armor. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a Sailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He wears a white costume with the symbols of death on his torso. He carries with him a set of spears, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has shaved his head bald. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Description: 5'2" and muscular, this eastern man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Blacksmith business.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
