History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barber for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and sabotage a competitor

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: The child of a Butcher, who enjoyed hunting, Anselm was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to reunite with his absent father
