History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fortune-teller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has a crush on the local fortune-teller

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family; and he is content

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
