History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.
