History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Courier for the past few years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
