This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Robert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

During his travels, Balimaar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Balimaar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Balimaar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
