History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Charles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Charles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Charles never married again.
