The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a Bather, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ernest liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Baker and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.
