History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Chad will drive conversation. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break
