Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
