Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Kyle alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: William was born with his mother's beautiful face. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
