During his travels, Dean and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Dean discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Dean fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Richard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He wears his brown hair down. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bricklayer profession.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
