History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ploughman born in the past three hundred years. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
