Norman Barney, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This younger middle-aged man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Norman does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wishes to resurrect an old love
Ideals: Joker. Flaws: Ugly, Depressed. Bonds: In love, Military. Occupation: Adventurer

Tim Bing, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a worn and beaten armor. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Born in the west to a Bather, Tim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personal [hide]
Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Theodoric Stratford, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a brown coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Theodoric has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content
