History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Heward was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family; and to settle down with his crush
