History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Trym and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

History: Don was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a great chef.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often
