History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: An older man who is typically in his Guard uniform, he is not a threatening figure. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Randal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has worked as a Guard like his mother before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Rolf was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a grey coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are green.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
