Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a white wide-brimmed hat and white clothes. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He got into the Sellsword business at a young age. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: This late middle aged man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge and is in decent physical shape. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears bulky blue painted plate armor. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult
