History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in rapier use. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is a great chef.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Brewer for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and balancing his hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His first spouse was a Adventurer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
