History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
