Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He's also a talented Banker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Gilbert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born in the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
