Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ploughman and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister
