History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Heward liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Alex's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Anthony was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Conrad speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Conrad abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Farmer again; and he's looking for his big break
