Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Ernest was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a Painter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Geoffrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Shoemaker father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
