History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Junk Dealer, but he got bored and became a Fisher. He has worked as a Fisher like his mother before him.

History: Skak was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
