His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Burto was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Gimble is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in a small island village. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Lone was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barkeep. He has achieved small success as a Barkeep.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gifted from a young age, Adrik studied abroad. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He struck the Shoemaker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
