History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Barber. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
