Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears his brown fur up. His ears are large.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. A true patriot, Shivering would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shivering grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly sickles and quarterstaffs. His crest, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are gold and catlike.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His head has been shaved. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Crampernap was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Crampernap's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
