He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
