History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Azaki was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Azaki's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ishmoz fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Pelt was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Valafar was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Valafar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Mortician like his mother before him.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult
