History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Rathkran enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Mamnen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Mamnen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Mamnen and his spouse have recently divorced.
