History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
