To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bilbron. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Nelkin was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: The child of a Performer, who enjoyed hunting, Holg was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: He was born into a rich family. He worked as a nervous Cook and found it very stressful. He tends to his Cook job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
